📚 Ace Back-to-School Lunches with Easy Copycat Recipes! 🍎

This Week's Theme: School Lunch-Box Prep

School is starting, and I'm here to get you and your family ready with these quick and easy recipes!

These homemade versions of all the fast-food favorites are healthier and taste better, too. They're great to make the night before or on Sunday in bulk to prep for the week ahead.

If you don't have time to make these for lunch, don't worry. You can always make these recipes for dinner instead, and you'll have a guaranteed way to get your kids excited and leave them satisfied.

  • Cook the Most Time-Consuming Ingredient in Bulk. Say you're making the Taco Bell Chicken Chipotle Melts, for example. Prepare enough chicken for however many servings you want. Cook it all at once, then separate and freeze it in the amounts you'll need for each serving. I do this very often and use these Souper Cubes Freezer Molds to do so. They're perfect and so useful!
  • Plan Your Meals. Read the recipes, make a shopping list, and decide on all meals and snacks for the week before grocery shopping. I know it can be time-consuming, but this will save you a lot of money in the long run and reduce waste from having food left over.
  • Organize Your Storage. Meal-prepping can sometimes be annoying and feel like a burden, especially if it takes up too much space in your fridge. That's why I suggest using sleek, perfectly stackable, space-efficient food storage containers if you don't already. These high-quality plastic or glass ones are perfect for keeping your fridge organized.

No one is born knowing how to cook. The only reason why I'm able to cook and bake the way I do and have a blog in the first place is because I grew up doing it with my parents and grandparents. Now, of course, you can always go to school for it later in life, but nothing beats those early lessons and nostalgic memories of learning from your loved ones.

So, if you have kids, younger siblings, nieces, nephews, or grandkids, get them in the kitchen with you. It may be frustrating at first and definitely requires patience. But you'll be teaching them life-long skills that will prove valuable throughout the rest of their life.

Plus, they can start making their own breakfast, lunch, and potentially dinners once they get good at it ;) LOL

  • Souper Cubes - Prepping your food for the week and freezing it has been one of my biggest secrets to staying sane during a busy season! These souper cubes have made that process so seamless!
  • Sandwich Cutter- Sometimes all your little one needs is an uncrustable, and now thanks to this sandwich cutter you can make it with whatever filling you have at home!
  • Silicone Reusable Food Storage Bags - The best part is that you can reuse them over and over and over again!
  • Mini Ketchup and Mustard Bottles - This will help keep their sauces in the cutest little containers without all the mess!
  • Label Printer - Keeping things organized can be hard during transition moments, but with this wireless bluetooth label printer you can finally keep everything organized!
  • Insulated Food thermos - Because keeping your little one's food warm is a priority!

As always, happy cooking, and I can't wait to share more delicious recipes with you soon! If you have any recipe requests, feel free to respond to this email, and I will add it to my to-do list!
